In the initial stages of my research, I thought it would be suitable to list as many existing MacGuffins and their movies in order to familiarise myself with the concept.
I also went on a virtual tour of the British Museum on Google Street View. It was hard to connect with the gallery space and understand the objects through the virtual platform, however, it was a fun experience. I drew some of the objects I found interesting, trying to take them from a variety of eras. This was just a way of making an initial exploration of objects and exposing myself to objects I wouldn't usually encounter.
