"A thing that is eagerly pursued or sought after" - this is the definition of the title of my Final Major Project, however I am looking at it from a narrower perspective: The MacGuffin. I have explained my initial areas of interest and investigation of this subject on the main page of this website, and now I will begin to document my exploration of MacGuffins on this blog.

So far in my research, I have discussed how I am going to outline my investigation, detailed my observations from watching Casablanca and Pulp Fiction, posed questions about mystery and identity of MacGuffins, and finally have settled on an initial definition of a MacGuffin for me to use and investigate the topic further.
